  • .COM Domain Price in Pakistan: Registration and Renewal Costs

A standard .com domain currently costs about PKR 2,899 to PKR 3,500 for the first year at the Pakistan-based sellers in this review.

Renewal commonly costs more: the published local examples run from PKR 3,500 to PKR 3,999 per year.

Our live catalogue lists .com separately in US dollars: USD 7.75 to register, USD 11.88 to renew and USD 11.22 to transfer. Your final rupee charge can move with the exchange rate and payment method, so the checkout total should settle the price.

That short answer applies to an available, standard-priced name. A premium name, an already-registered name sold by its owner, a hosting bundle or a conditional promotion can produce a very different bill.

Current .COM prices in Pakistan

I checked each provider’s own pricing or product page on 17 August 2026. The table keeps registration and renewal separate because a low first-year number can hide the larger recurring cost.

I did not calculate a two-year Hostinger total. Its PKR 499 headline requires a three-year term, while the page also shows PKR 4,399 as the standard rate.

The order summary must show how the seller prices every year in that commitment before you can compare it fairly.

This simple two-year view changes the ranking.

  • WebSouls does not have the lowest renewal, yet its published registration discount gives it the lowest calculable two-year PKR total in this small snapshot.

  • Domain.pk costs more in year one but publishes the same price for renewal.

  • HosterPK sits between them at registration and charges more in year two.

Price alone still does not select a registrar. Check who controls the account, whether you can edit DNS records, how the seller handles expiry and what support route you can use when ownership or payment details need attention.

Why one .COM price can look unusually cheap

1) The offer requires a longer purchase

A large discount may depend on buying hosting or committing to several years. The headline usually shows the cheapest component, not necessarily the amount due today.

Read the order summary before payment. It should tell you the registration term, the total charged now and the future renewal price. If those three figures do not appear together, ask the seller to confirm them in writing.

2) The renewal costs more

Registrars often discount acquisition rather than the continuing service. The domain still works the same way during the discounted year, but keeping it means paying the renewal price later.

For a business domain, compare at least two years. For a name that will appear on packaging, email addresses or legal documents, a three- or five-year budget gives an even more useful picture.

3) The seller quotes US dollars

International domain supply runs through global registry and registrar systems, so some Pakistan storefronts display or settle .com fees in USD. Your bank, card network, wallet or seller can determine the PKR conversion that reaches the invoice.

Our catalogue currently uses USD. Do not convert USD 7.75 once and treat that rupee result as a fixed Truehost price. Check the live total when you pay and repeat the check before renewal.

4) The name carries a premium price

The table covers ordinary available names. A registry can label a desirable name as premium, or the existing registrant can offer a taken name on the aftermarket. That purchase may cost far more than a normal registration and can carry a higher renewal too.

Confirm both facts before buying: Is this a standard registration or a premium/aftermarket sale? What exact renewal will apply after the purchase?

5) Fees and add-ons enter at checkout

A checkout can include tax, an ICANN-related fee, privacy, email, hosting, a website builder or another service. Some extras may help, but they are not the .com registration itself.

Remove anything you did not choose, then keep the invoice. The invoice should identify the domain term and separate optional products clearly enough for you to audit the next renewal.

Registration, renewal and transfer are different prices

These three transactions solve different needs:

  • Registration creates a new registration for an available name.

  • Renewal extends a domain you already control.

  • Transfer moves management to another registrar and usually has its own eligibility and authorization process.

At Truehost, the current public rows show USD 7.75 for registration, USD 11.88 for renewal and USD 11.22 for transfer. Do not use the registration offer to estimate either of the other transactions.

Our pricing page also lists a 30-day grace period at USD 0 and a 30-day redemption period at USD 115 for .com. Treat those windows as recovery mechanisms, not a renewal plan. An expired business domain can interrupt its website and email before the owner resolves payment.

How to buy a .COM domain without a price surprise

Use this order:

  1. Search the exact spelling you want.

  2. Confirm the result says standard or premium.

  3. Record the registration term and amount due now.

  4. Find the renewal price before adding extras.

  5. Check the invoice currency, tax and payment fee.

  6. Put the registrant account and email under the owner’s control.

  7. Enable renewal reminders or auto-renewal with a current payment method.

If you plan to buy through us, start with our .com page and compare its result with the live catalogue.

Should you buy .COM or .PK?

Choose .com when you want a familiar global address, serve customers in several countries or expect the brand to expand beyond Pakistan. Choose .pk or .com.pk when the address should identify Pakistan first.

Price should not decide that positioning by itself. .pk also follows PKNIC’s two-year billing rules, so its advertised annual equivalent does not compare directly with a one-year .com registration.

Our .pk comparison covers that choice in detail. If the exact brand is available in both extensions and confusion would carry a real cost, you can register both and redirect one to the primary site.

.COM Domain Price FAQs

How much is a .com domain in Pakistan?

The Pakistan-based registrars checked on 17 August 2026 listed standard first-year prices from PKR 2,899 to PKR 3,500. Truehost listed USD 7.75, so its final PKR amount depends on checkout conversion. Conditional promotions can show a lower headline.

How much does .com renewal cost?

The local examples in this review ranged from PKR 3,500 to PKR 3,999 per year. Truehost listed USD 11.88. Check the live renewal figure because providers can change prices and currency conversion.

Can I buy a .com domain permanently?

No. You register a domain for a fixed term and renew it to keep control. Budget for renewal and keep the registrant email and payment details current.

Does a domain include hosting?

Not automatically. The domain gives you the address. Hosting stores the website, while an email service handles mailboxes. A bundle can include these products, but check their separate renewal terms.

Why is a premium .com expensive?

A registry may classify a desirable available name as premium, or a current owner may sell a taken name on the aftermarket. Ask for the purchase price and future renewal before paying.

Check the renewal before you register

For an ordinary available name, a realistic local budget starts around PKR 2,899-3,500 for registration and PKR 3,500-3,999 for the next annual renewal based on the current published pages in this review.

A promotion, premium name, USD conversion or add-on can move the total outside that range.

Search the name first, then judge the registration and renewal together. You can check .com availability with us and confirm the final currency, term and renewal in the order summary before paying.
